BMS provide professional and efficient assistance in all things D&T, based in Wiltshire with a nationwide coverage.

We are a family run business lead by David and Tom Wiltshire who along with their experienced engineers have collectively clocked up over 100 years in the industry.

Our overall goal is to develop and maintain a long-lasting customer relationship with the school, college or academy, and to help student and teachers remain confident and safe in their working environments.

Established by Dave Wiltshire in 1986 under the old trading name of Bowerhill Machine Tool Maintenance, Bowerhill Machinery Services have been providing a service for Design Technology Departments situated within schools, colleges and academies.

The company was originally set up to provide an annual machinery preventative scheme. Our skills in Electrical & Mechanical engineering are well established as is our understanding of BS4163 :2014 and Building Bulletin 81 which allows us to give advice and guidance to assist in Design and Installation requirements.

Although we are based in Wiltshire, we are willing to travel anywhere in England.

We can now offer a much wider service and package as follows:

• LEV testing for dust and fume extraction
• Call out / breakdown service
• Installation of dust and fume extraction
• Machine safety upgrades
• Supply of new & used machinery
• Purchase of redundant machinery
• Design of workshop machinery layout

Recently the business has relocated to larger premises in Melksham, Wiltshire. Customers receiving our services in one way or another currently total more than 400. Our fully trained staff have over 100 years’ experience between them and are all DBS checked.
