LEV Testing in Schools

Whether you are a School, College, or Academy, Bowerhill Machinery Services can handle all your Dust & LEV Extraction requirements and carry out a comprehensive LEV test.

We provide an in depth and detailed LEV test, carried out by professional and competent engineers with experience in all areas of extraction situated within a Design & Technology department, including dust extraction, fume extraction and laser cutter extraction.

On completion of the test we will provide you with your LEV report via hard copy or in digital format.

All Bowerhill Machinery Services onsite engineers are DBS checked and experienced on how to conduct themselves in a classroom environment.

We can offer both our Annual Machine Service and our LEV servicing on the same day, in our experience this creates less disruption to classrooms and makes our estimates more competitive for the department.

Whats Included in a LEV Test?

Minor repairs such as a loose hose, emptying of an collection bins/trays or removing blockages from ductwork will be carried out as part of the test
Any extra materials used during test will be agreed with the school prior to any work being carried out. However, common sense applies and simple repairs are usually a matter of time rather that materials, and will be included as part of the test
Extractors, ductwork and hoods will all be tested and documented

Any results or recommendations will normally be discussed with the school prior to engineers departure
A written LEV report detailing all the test results, recommendations and machine specifications will be emailed or sent via hard copy when requested a short time after completion
A quotation for any remedial work will be included with the report
