Annual Machine Servicing
BMS provide a thorough, helpful and professional Annual Machine Service, looking after all machine tools situated within the D&T department.
This includes:
- Safety inspection
- Thorough clean
- Lubrication
- Report
LEV Testing
BMS provide a in depth and detailed LEV test, carried out by professional and competent engineers with experience in all areas of extraction situated within a D&T department including dust extraction, fume extraction and laser cutter extraction.
On completion of the test, BMS will provide you with your LEV report via hard copy or e-copy.
All BMS onsite engineers a DBS checked and experienced on how to conduct themselves in a classroom environment.
BMS can offer both our Annual Machine Service and our LEV servicing on the same day, in our experience this creates less disruption to classrooms and makes our quoting more competitive for the department.
Machinery Repairs in Schools
Are you having problems with your machines in your department? Do you need advice as to whether it can be repaired or not. We can help fix it or advise you on the best way forward, supplying new machinery if required.
Bowerhill Machinery Services recommend that an annual service and inspection is carried out on all machinery within Design & Technology departments in schools followed by a detailed written report which can be presented to the Health and Safety Executive and OFSTED inspection team should they wish to see your records at any time.

Training
Bowerhill Machinery Services are proud to now be able to offer machine training.
Our DATA qualified consultant guarantees that all training is carried out with education at the forefront.
One of the qualifications available is the NVQ Safe use of Machinery Certificate.
This is carried out under the guidance of the HSE, who state that training should take place every 3 to 5 years.
Our consultant can bring the training to you, which means all training can be tailor made for your department.
